Land surface:552 m2Given its convenient location, Řeporyje offers nice opportunities for weekend bike rides. Get in the saddle and follow the A12 road from Řeporyje to Dalejské and Prokopské valley all the way to the quarter of Braník. The route is about 10 km long, which makes it the perfect option for an afternoon ride. You can see many interesting sites along the way, such as stone statues by Kurt Gebauer, or take a short break near the Prokopské pond full of ducks and swans. In case you stop in one of several local mines and are lucky, you may be able to come across a fossil of an ancient animal. Another tip may be the cycle route no. A11 which will take you from Řeporyje through a conservation area Cikánka to Zbraslav, where you can finish off with a nice lunch.
Do not travel shopping to the other side of Prague. You can get to “Metropole Zličín” shopping mall in 7 minutes with a wide range of shopping and fun opportunities. On its 70.000 m2 surface you will find many shops, restaurants, wellness facilities and a multiplex. However, “Metropole Zličín” is not the only shopping option, of course. The area of Řeporyje itself offers ample alternatives for a quick purchase of food and other stuff. Other shopping malls include for example “OC Lužiny” or “Galerie Butovice”.
Even though you will live in a new house with a garden you will also be able to enjoy the comfort of city life. You will find all services you may need for your everyday life within a walking distance. A pharmacy, GP surgery for both adults and children, police station, post office, primary art school and nursery school are all to be found in the neighbourhood.
While the Řeporyje area is situated in a calm location it has also very good transport access. You will get there by car from Wenceslas Square in around 20 minutes and you can get to the airport in 10 minutes. The nearest subway station Luka is located within a 5 min. walking distance or you can get on a bus no. 174, 230, 255, 301, 352 or 502. If you feel like taking a trip a bit further you can start at the Praha – Řeporyje train station.
